That’s exactly how Baldev Jumnani & Jayashree Jumnani started their pitch. They are a married couple from Nagpur.

The product name is Navel Sakuru Navel Fukai. Fukai means deep, and Sakuru means rounded. This can also be known as the Belly Button Shaper. This unique one-of-a-kind product will make your belly button more round and deep without any surgery.
Up until this point, I was thinking what’s the point of having a deep belly button anyway?
At this point, Ashneer was having the best day of his life. He was laughing like crazy. I was confused because I’d never seen him laugh this much. I didn’t know he could laugh so much. I thought he was the Indian version of Sheldon Cooper. Aman Gupta was also hiding his laugh behind the book.
How much money did they ask for Naabhi Shaper?
They came to Shark Tank India asking for ₹10 Lakhs in exchange for 20% equity in his company. Which gives the company a valuation of ₹50 Lakhs.
Baldev previously worked in Emcure Pharmaceuticals as an MR.
How Did The Idea Come to Mind?
Whenever Baldev went to watch cinemas, he used to check the belly buttons of different actors and actresses. Once he went to a hotel and saw a handsome guy with his belly button going outwards. That’s when he thought he could actually make a product and help people achieve a round deep belly button.
How Belly Button Work?
The product comes with a sanitizer. People have to apply the castor oil & sanitizer in their belly button. Then once it’s clean, they can insert the Navel Fukai in their belly button. After inserting they need to put a scotch tape on top so that it doesn’t come out.
I mean, so much work for a deep belly button, don’t you think?
They demonstrated the product to a girl. And it was really weird seeing the demonstration to be honest.
They have sold 650 Navel Fukai up until now. Total sales of the product is ₹4.8 Lakhs.
Which shark gave Naabhi Shaper an offer?
Vineeta Singh was the first one to be out. She raised her concern about the product not being FDA-approved. She doesn’t like anything that completely transforms a person.
Anupam Mittal thinks this business will be a lot of work. Baldev wants to create a new category that currently doesn’t exist. That’s why he is out as well.
Namita Thapar thought the sales of the product were out of curiosity. In the long run, this business will not run. That’s why she was out.
Aman Gupta was also out.
Ashneer Grover was quite harsh and vocal against the product. He urged Baldev to abandon this business and do something else in life.
What deal did Naabhi Shaper get in Shark Tank India?
They didn’t get any deal from Shark Tank India. But Jayashree Jumnani was quite confident with her husband. She thinks her husband will make it big one day and everyone will call him belly button shaper man.
