What is Wicked Gud?

Wicked Gud makes pasta and noodles but with chickpeas, brown rice, lentils, whole wheat flour, and oats. Which makes the food much healthier. Wicked Gud wanted to capture the ever-growing ₹15000 Crores noodles market in India.

Wicked Gud used SCAD technology to make the instant noodles. That’s why there’s zero oil in it. SCAD stands for streaming, convection & air drying. In this process, the noodles don’t get deep fried. They don’t use any added flavor enhancers like MSG.

Wicked Gud Before Shark Tank India?

Wicked Gud started its journey in 2021. Their products are available on their own website. They are available on Amazon, Big Basket, Swiggy, and other marketplaces as well. They are currently exporting the goods to 4 different countries.

How much money did they ask for Wicked Gud?

The founder came to Shark Tank India seeking ₹50 Lakhs in exchange for 1% equity in the company. Which gives the company a valuation of ₹50 Crores.

Aman Gupta left this episode because he was already an investor in this brand. That’s why he didn’t want to influence other sharks’ decisions with his presence. Aman invested in a pre-seed round, and the valuation was ₹17 Crores post-money.

Peyush Bansal was out also. Because he thought the target of becoming a unicorn in this sector would be extremely hard and he didn’t want to put his bet on this.
